Clover Press Celebrates ‘The Marvel Art Of Russell Dauterman’ With Upcoming Kickstarter Campaign

Russell Dauterman is one of Marvel’s most popular and sought-after artists, from his interior work on The Mighty Thor and Giant-Size X-Men to countless covers to costume designs (including all the Hellfire Gala looks). His smooth lines, clever layouts, and knack for characterization have made him a fan favorite. Now, Clover Press is looking to kickstart a deluxe hardcover collection of his Marvel Comics art.
Launching next week, the centerpiece of the campaign is a 216 page coffee table book measuring 9″ x 12″, along with an assortment of 11×17 prints, celebrating 10 years of Dauterman’s Marvel art. Clover Press also plans to reveal some additional rewards exclusive to Kickstarter backers, including dustjackets, slipcases, and some other cool stuff along the way.
Personally, I’ll be backing this project just in the hopes of getting all of those cool (and now, often expensive via eBay) variant covers where Dauterman draws a character in all the different iterations of their costumes through the years in one place.
