Dynamite And Full Moon Features Team Up For ‘Puppet Master’ Trading Cards And More

by Erik Amaya

Puppet Master is making its way to Dynamite.

The company announced Tuesday that it has partnered with Full Moon Features, owners of the cult film series, to release collectables and other projects celebrating 35 years of Puppet Master movies. First up: a line of trading cards showcasing the 12+ films released thus far. Beginning in 1989 with the original Puppet Master, the films have followed a collection of puppets animated by an “ancient Egyptian spell” who cause chaos wherever they emerge. Additionally, as some of the puppets have come to be iconic, their silhouettes are instantly recognizable to anyone who spent time in video stores during the ’90s and beyond.

Puppet Master is one of the most unique and classic franchises in horror,” Nick Barruccci, Dynamite CEO and Publisher, said in a statement. “We’re excited to connect with the diehard fans of the films and deliver something truly special for their collections.”

Full Moon founder and CEO Charles Band added, “The Puppet Master series might just be the most important franchise in our vast Full Moon film universe … So, it is extremely important to us that our brand be forever in good hands. The Dynamite team have surpassed all of our expectations, creating a collection of cards that exemplify the magic, mystery and visual grandeur of Puppet Master and the iconic characters within. We couldn’t be more pleased with this partnership.”

More details about the trading cards and additional Puppet Master projects will be revealed soon.
