‘The Terminator’ 40th Anniversary Comic Collection Crowdfund Campaign Goes Oversized

The Terminator 40th Anniversary comic collection crowdfunding effort on BackerKit has surpassed its primary goal and is announcing a new secondary objective.

Originally set to fund at $25,000, the campaign to date has reached $150,000 and to celebrate, Dynamite will offer a stretch goal originally meant for the $200,000 plateau early. Now, all hardcover and metal editions will receive oversized pages. “The support for the project has been so overwhelming so far that we’ve actually decided to skip on waiting to get to that benchmark. We’re unlocking this upgrade for all applicable backers now. It’s a special thanks to those who have been with us in this journey since launch, and for everyone continuing to join in and pledge their support for these action-packed tomes,” the company said in a statement.

The collection aims to reprint nearly all of the Terminator comics released in the 20th Century and at least one published in more recent times. Confirmed stories include the 2014 tale, The Terminator: Enemy of My Enemy. and the following:

  • The Terminator: 1984 #1-3
  • The Terminator: 1990 (Tempest) #1-4
  • The Terminator: Secondary Objectives #1-4
  • The Terminator: The Enemy Within #1-4

  • The Terminator: 1998 One-Shot
  • The Terminator: Death Valley
  • The Terminator: Dark Years #1-4
  • The Terminator: Hunters and Killers #1-3
  • The Terminator: Suicide Run (from Dark Horse Presents #138)
  • The Terminator: 2029 #1-3
  • The Terminator: Burning Earth #1-5
