Ubisoft’s F2P Shooter ‘XDefiant’ Finally Launches May 21

Ubisoft San Francisco’s free to play multiplayer shooter XDefiant finally has a confirmed release date. According to Ubisoft, the title will go into what they’re calling a “Pre-Season” launch on May 21st. This event will include five factions, five game modes, fourteen different maps and over two-dozen weapons, shown below:
The pre-season will last six weeks before the studio shifts into their first season, and they already have their first year’s roadmap planned out. Every three months they will add new content, including new weapons, maps, and factions, all inspired by characters from classic Ubisoft games.
XDefiant will be releasing for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Ubisoft Connect.
