Art For Art’s Sake: Lake Como Artists Special (Part 3)

by Richard Bruton

Bringing you two of our favourite things – great comic festivals and great comic art, we’re taking a look at the comics work of the full line-up of guests at the wonderful Lake Como Comic Art Festival, in a series of Art For Art’s Sake specials…

Another dip into the rich artist pool of Lake Como Comic Art Festival now for another selection of some of the 70 artists they have appearing.

We’ve told you all about Lake Como Comics Art Festival now and given you an interview with its founders. So you should be well aware of the uniqueness of LCCAF – 70 comic artists from around the world gather from 17-19 May in the absolutely gorgeous surroundings of the Villa Erba, on the shores of Lake Como, Italy. And just 1,000 lucky attendees get to spend a weekend of relaxed, informal, intimate comic appreciation. Keeping the maximum number of attendees, plus the huge number of great comic artists, all in some (and I can’t say this enough) truly beautiful surroundings is what makes LCCAF such a unique event in the comics calendar.

LCCAF runs from Friday May 17th to Sunday May 19th at the Villa Erba in Cernobbio, Lake Como, Italy. It all begins on the Friday night with an opening reception followed by two full days of comics festival.

For more details of the festival, head to their website – Lake Como Comic Arts Festival – and of course, this artist list is subject to change, things happen, people can’t make it, you know how it is!

Now, art from some of the great names they have in attendance…
