Decades after breaking onto the comics scene, Todd McFarlane remains a popular creator. The creator of Spawn, co-creator of Venom, co-founder of Image Comics and the guy who makes a bunch of cool toys and buys famous baseballs is lauded for his innovations and contributions to the field. On May 13th, he’ll be breaking new ground once again!
For the first time ever, McFarlane will be selling original artwork from Spawn, in a form all the kids are talking about these days. The art to his cover for Spawn #1 has been digitally scanned and converted into an NFT, and will be going up to bid for 48 hours on DRiP starting May 13. It represents the first-ever auction of original Spawn comic artwork as an NFT.
