Nicola Scott Presents A Series Of Artist Spotlight Variant Covers For DC Comics Depicting The Evolution Of Its Most Iconic Heroes

Nicola Scott is to produce 12 new comic book variant covers for DC Comics titles this summer. And the theme connecting them all is DC’s superfolk “Through The Ages”. That is to say, individual and iconic characters depicted in their various costumes and reiterations across the years. Something Scott had previously done on several anniversary issues for DC Comics over the past few years and prove rather popular, first appeared on Action Comics #1000, Detective Comics #1000, and Wonder Woman #750, Green Lantern 80th Anniversary 100 Page Super Spectacular #1 and will now be included in this new Artist Spotlight series.

As for Scott’s Nightwing cover, it has never been published but was made a fan-favorite image online by cheekily showcasing Dick Grayson’s evolution from Robin to Nightwing.

Nicola Scott Artist Spotlight variant covers will adorn the following issues: Action Comics #1069, Batman #152, Batman/Superman: World’s Finest #31, Birds of Prey #13, Catwoman #48, Green Lantern #15, Harley Quinn #43, Nightwing #118, Superman #18, The Flash #13, Wonder Woman #13, and Zatanna: Bring Down The House #4.
