Wolverine & Deadpool Team Up For Weapon X-Traction In Marvel Backups

They’re mean, they’re violent, and they’re the stars of Marvel Studios’ one and only movie release this year. And to get comics fans ready, the duo are cutting a violent path through the Marvel Multiverse in the backs of multiple Marvel Comics series throughout the summer.

Coming from Ryan North & Javier Garron, the story will kick off in July’s Incredible Hulk #14, and continues through various issues of Marvel’s ongoing titles through August. The story will find the duo tearing through the multiverse, battling zombies, gun-wielding librarians and each other. And it all comes at no additional cost for each issue.

As an added bonus, each of the issues featuring the back-ups will get a variant cover with industry superstars like Garron, Steve McNiven, Ryan Stegman, Jorge Molina, Cafu, Declan Shalvey and David Nakayama. The variants will feature moments from the event story as well as homages to the classic moments between the duo.
