Shane Connery Volk’s B-Horror Miniseries ‘Prairie Gods’ Announced For Fall 2024

Mad Cave Studios has announced a new supernatural miniseries for September 2024. Mad Cave Studios’ 2019 Talent Search Winner Shane Connery Volk spins five new tales connected by one ghost town with Prairie Gods.
Twilight Zone meets Sin City. Each self-contained issue will center on supernatural events and characters in the small prairie town Broadacres. The series leans into Western themes, noir, lost treasure serials, and war tropes, with a whole lot of action throughout.
“The Devil Went Down To Georgia” gets an automotive spin when Freddy Davis, a champion race car driver, who has returned home to Broadacres. He buys the abandoned speedway, intending to race against its only undefeated driver: the actual Devil.
Future issues will weave terrifying revenants, aliens, and time travel into the Broadacres setting. Each chapter of this anthology series expands to serve a larger mythos and establish a captivating cast of characters.

Action, Sci-fi, Westerns and Thrillers come together in a small prairie town with big supernatural secrets—and even bigger characters. It’s like a B-movie marathon in comic book form.”
Prairie Gods #1 hits the spinner racks on September 4th.
