Deadly Dead Eyes Is Back In ‘Dead Eyes: The Empty Frames’ From Image Comics

Writer Gerry Duggan (X-Men, Falling In Love On The Path To Hell) and artist John McCrea (Hitman, Mythic) are bringing back their gripping and gritty crime series Dead Eyes for a five-issue miniseries. Spinning out of the original series, after the events of the original Mafioso mystery story. Entitled Dead Eyes: The Empty Frames the debut issue will be out this September from Image Comics.

“In Dead Eyes: The Empty Frames, the world’s most unkillable comic is out of hiding and back stomping around Boston. At the end of the first volume, the masked hood known as Dead Eyes picked up a clue as to the location of the paintings swiped in the largest private art heist in America. Can Dead Eyes and Wheels take down the score while avoiding the cops and the mafia? Creators Duggan and McCrea are back and knocking teeth down throats.”

Talking about working with McCrea and colourist Mike Spicer again, Duggan states:

As always, McCrea, and colorist Mike Spicer really show off in this new volume and prove once again why they’re one of the best teams in the business.”

McCrea added:
