Kickstarting Comics: ‘Peter Hogan’s Black Forests’ – Six Comic Tales Of Suspense And The Supernatural

Another Kickstarter to get behind, as writer Peter Hogan joins with Steve Parkhouse and more great artists for six tales of suspense and the supernatural with Black Forests.
Joining Peter Hogan and Parkhouse on the project will be Rian Hughes, Glenn Fabry, David Hitchcock, Ally Fell, Jimmy Broxton, Rapha Lobosko, Matt Soffe, and Robin Jones – and I’m sure there are more to be announced.
It’s 48 pages of comics in a deluxe square bound book of horror and suspense of every possible imagining, from future tales of apocalyptic words to cautionary tales to send a shiver down your spines, it’s Hogan having fun with the genre and it looks like a load of great works.
It’s got a trio of covers – the regular cover designed (brilliant as always and as you’d expect) by Rian Hughes, plus two variant cover options including a virgin variant by Hedrek artist David Hitchcock and a Kickstarter exclusive variant cover from Aly Fell.
Extras include adding a signed bookplate, original sketch cover editions, limited edition prints, and the chance to purchase original art pages from some of the artists involved.
Peter Hogan’s Black Forests is crowdfunding right now on Kickstarter and the campaign runs until Tuesday 23 July at 11:03 pm BST.
