Another good-looking Kickstarter for you to get behind – Volume 3 of WesterNoir and WesterNoir: Moon Cursed by Dave West, Gary Crutchley, Jemma West, and Joseph Villar Parangue – let’s head back to the Weird West!

Time Bomb Comics are running their latest pre-order campaign on Kickstarter right now, collecting WesterNoir Volume 3 and WesterNoir: Moon Cursed.
WesterNoir Volume 3 is 180 pages of collection that continues the saga of Josiah Black whilst Moon Cursed is a 50-page stand-alone tale which originally ran in the ongoing Quantum anthology through 2023.
Created by writer Dave West and artist Gary Crutchley, WesterNoir has been telling the tale since 2012 at West’s AccentUK and now at Time Bomb Comics, a great mix of horror, mythology, and the Wild, Weird West. It follows gunslinger Josiah Black, monster slayer, prophesised as the last line of defence protecting humanity from all the horrors. Except now he’s decided he’s been duped into seeing monsters where none existed.
Speaking about Volume 3, Dave West said this:
“I can’t wait for people, who have decided (with Josiah) that monsters don’t really exist, to find that they are wrong. Very wrong.”
Moon Cursed tells a new story in the world of WesterNoir. Co-written by Jemma West, with art by Joseph Villar Parangue and colours by Matt Soffe, it stars the mysterious Mrs Jones as she arranges a wagon trail across the Wild West with the aim of luring out a creature with a connection to her own past. Jemma West describes Moon Cursed as – ‘a monstrous spin on the Old West which promises mystery and mayhem in equal measure.’
As you’d expect, it’s a KS all about getting the comics into people’s hands but there’s also plenty of tiers, bonuses, stretch goals and the like along with limited edition prints and posters.
