Chris Mooneyham Is Back On Active Duty With ‘G.I.JOE: A Real American Hero’ #311

Skybound and Image Comics, in collaboration with Hasbro, announced that series artist Chris Mooneyham (Nightwing, Sgt. Rock and the Unknown Soldier) will return to the G.I. JOE series with G.I. JOE: A Real American Hero #311. Mooneyham returns to join legendary series writer Larry Hama (Wolverine) and colourist Francesco Segala (Mighty Morphin Power Rangers).
And Alex Antone, Editorial Director at Skybound, is excited about his return to active duty.
“We’re thrilled to welcome back the indomitable Chris Mooneyham, and just in time, as the epic mutant battle in Springfield reaches its shocking conclusion. When Larry Hama sent me the script, he had just one thing to say:‘This story is going to slay.’”
Skybound also revealed three covers by the following artists:
- Cover A by Andy Kubert and colourist Tamra Bonvillain,
- An open-to-order variant cover (Cover B, a black and white version of Kubert’s main cover)
- Cover C: “Camouflage Variant” 1:10 incentive cover series by Francis Portela.
