‘Psylocke’ Takes The Spotlight In November
by Tony Thornley
Kwannon has become one of the core members of the X-Men. In November, she takes center stage.
Announced by Marvel Comics with just a teaser, Psylocke is the latest X-Man to get their own solo series. The only other detail the publisher included was that more information would be forthcoming at Comic-Con International: San Diego later this week.

Psylocke started her publication life as Betsy Braddock, sister to Captain Britain Brian Braddock. She eventually joined the X-Men, evolving from a naive rookie to one of the most valuable members of the team. Around Uncanny X-Men #256, she was kidnapped by the Hand and transformed body and mind into an Asian ninja assassin. A confusing retcon soon after revealed the transformation was actually a body swap with a Japanese assassin named Kwannon. The two eventually switch and return to being their own heroes.
So which version of Psylocke will be get? Not sure, but tune into Marvel’s X-Men From the Ashes panel this weeked at San Diego Comic-Con!
