Dark Horse Direct And Naughty Dog Release A Fantastic New ‘The Last Of Us’ Statue

When The Last of Us came out, we picked it up fairly quickly. It started out as a fun weekend game and the next thing I knew we were playing it like an interactive movie. Between the compelling story, the frantic survival moments, and the need to be quiet, it really captured that edge-of-your-seat feeling that is typically reserved for big-budget films.

Naughty Dog had something special on its hands and still, all these years later when we return to do a full playthrough, it’s a fun time and still gets us laughing and jumping as the clickers click and the survivors come at us from every side.

The good people over at Dark Horse Direct have showcased a two new exclusive The Last of Us statues featuring Ellie with her Switchblade and Ellie with a gun.

The switchblade variant is crafted and designed by Mat Brouillard and showcases Ellie holding her mom’s knife at the ready, preparing for whatever horrors are incoming.

This Dark Horse Direct exclusive stands at 7.5″ in height on a 3.5″ wide base. Complete with a certificate of authenticity and hand-numbered base, these are limited to just 1000 units. You can preorder the switchblade version exclusively at this link from Dark Horse Direct.

Now the second version stands 7.5″ tall on a 3.5″ base and is also super detailed, but rather than showcasing Ellie holding her hand-me-down knife she is holding a handgun. This is also sculpted by Brouillard with prototyping and paint by Substance Model Works and will include a Certificate of Authenticity.
