SDCC 2024: Simu Liu And John Glover Added To ‘Gremlins: The Wild Batch’ Season 2

Fans of Max’s animated spin-off Gremlins: The Wild Batch got some good news today at the San Diego Comic-Con. Not only was the premiere date for Season 2 revealed, but a big name was announced as being added to the voice cast.
MCU and Barbie star Simu Liu will be joining the main cast of the series’ second season, which will also feature a guest appearance from Gremlins veteran John Glover.
Gremlins: The Wild Batch will take place one year after the events of Season 1, following Sam (Izaac Wang), Elle (Gabrielle Nevaeh Green), and Gizmo (AJ LoCascio) as they travel from Shanghai to San Francisco. There, they’ll cross paths with a charming bootlegger named Chang (Liu). Glover, who played a billionaire industrialist in 1989’s Gremlins 2: The New Batch, will play an undisclosed role.
Additional Season 2 guest voices will include Michael Paul Chan, Ronny Chieng, Keith David, Will Forte, Kelly Hu, and Jimmy O. Yang. They join regular cast members Ming-Na Wen, James Hong, BD Wong, and George Takei.
The new season will premiere Thursday, October 3rd on Max.
