American Hero Press To Present Great Fantasy Art In The ‘Frazetta Gallery Series’

If you have even a passing interest in fantasy, you probably know of Frank Frazetta. The legendary artist defined the look of sword-and-sorcery for generations who saw his covers for various novels, a run of Conan the Barbarian, or prints of his Death Dealer character — to say nothing of his contributions to other genres. Now, the folks at American Hero Press intended to collect much of his work into the multi-volume Frazetta Gallery Series.
As announced by the company Wednesday, each volume measures 11″ x 15″ and will be available in hardcover, softcover, and limited edition slipcase hardcover. No matter the outer presentation, though, the interiors will feature high quality reproductions of Frazetta’s work from “first generation files.” The first four books in the series will feature one of the following themes, respectively: Terror, Adventure, Warriors, and Sirens. The first covers various horror themed book covers and material from Creepy and Eerie magazines. The second houses Frazetta interpretations of characters and environments devised by Edgar Rice Burroughs. The third, appropriately enough, focuses in on sword-and-sorcery art with a look at other heroic and “otherworldly” images. The fourth showcases art centered on pin-up art with a varied selection of ladies both good and bad.
Each is officially licensed by the Frank Frazetta Estate and the Frazetta Art Museum in East Stroudsburg, PA and will ship throughout late 2024 and into 2025. The first volume, “Terror” ships later this Fall.
