by Sage Ashford

Developer DON’T NOD has provided a first gameplay look at their upcoming narrative mystery game, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage. A game split between the two eras of the mid-1990s and modern times, Lost Records tells the story of a group of four women who became close friends over a summer, only for a strange experience to cause them to go their separate ways and avoid speaking for almost 30 years.

The first look gameplay trailer focuses on the girls in 1995, when they first became friends. Through the eyes of the protagonist, Swann, they provide a glimpse at the game’s dialogue system, and the camcorder Swann uses to record the people and events of the little town of Velvet Cove.

Like lassic narrative adventure games, Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is split into two parts, known as Tapes. Part 1 will release February 18th, while Part 2 will release March 18th.

Lost Records: Bloom & Rage is releasing for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Steam.
