‘C.O.W.L.: 1964’ #1 Gets A Second Printing After Selling Out

The debut issue of the new Image Comics’ C.O.W.L. miniseries, C.O.W.L.: 1964 #1 by writers Kyle Higgins (Radiant Black) and Alec Siegel (Hadrian’s Wall), and artist Rod Reis (New Mutants) has sold out at the distributor level and thereby heading for a second printing.
“It’s 1964, and C.O.W.L.—the Chicago Organized Workers League, the world’s first superhero labor union—is going national! But with the old team scattered and powerful forces moving in the shadows, will this union be busted before it gets off the ground?”
And Higgins couldn’t be happier with the fans’ response:
“C.O.W.L. holds an incredibly special place in my heart and to see the reaction to 1964 issue one has been so exciting. I can’t thank readers enough for jumping on board and taking this journey with us—we have big plans for both C.O.W.L. and what the 1960s’ heroes mean for the future of the Massive-Verse and it all starts here!”

C.O.W.L.: 1964 #1, second printing and C.O.W.L.: 1964 #2 both be out on Wednesday, September 18th from Image Comics.
