Sandfall Interactive Offers A “First Look” For Clair Obscura: Expedition 33

It seems during Gamescom, Sandfall Interactive and Kepler Interactive offered a “first look” at their upcoming RPG Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. This seven minute trailer presents a glimpse at an early region, Flying Waters. Here, two members of the expedition, Gustave and Lune, are searching for their ally Maelle.
This first look splits evenly between showing off the world and characters and some of the combat, including a battle against a boss, Goblu. Employing a battle system they’ve dubbed Reactive Turn Based, players are encouraged not just to input their attacks, but to react to enemy attacks to protect their party.
This game still looks like one of the most gorgeous RPGs of the generation, and fans can only hope it lives up to all the expectations.
Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 releases on PC via Steam and the Epic Games Store, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series.
