Skybound Gives Fans A First Look At ‘Universal Monsters: Frankenstein’ #2

Skybound/Image Comics, in partnership with Universal Products & Experiences, have revealed the variant covers and a preview from Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #2, from award-winning artist/writer Michael Walsh (The Silver Coin) and colourist Toni-Marie Griffin (Black Hammer/Justice League).  And here’s how it’s all going down:

“In this second issue, Dr. Frankenstein’s assistant Fritz has one mission – to find the supplies to make a new human being. However, a chance encounter between a police officer and a murderer may ruin even the best laid plans…

Comics superstar Michael Walsh resurrects one of the most iconic monsters of all time in a jaw-dropping, re-imagining of the horror hit. Readers can expect each issue of the limited series to tell the shocking story behind one of the corpse parts used to create the unforgettable monster in the original film.” 

As well as a main cover by Walsh, you can always get the variant covers by Mike Del Mundo, Anwita Citriya, and Martin Simmonds, as well as the second of a four-part connecting cover series by Francesco Francavilla.

Universal Monsters: Frankenstein #2 (of 4) will be out on Wednesday, September 25th, 2024 from Skybound/Image Comics.
