Nordland Rises As The ‘Rogue Trooper’ Universe & The ‘2000 AD’ Multiverse Collide

Two weeks to go until the latest big event in the 2000 AD multiverse as Nordland Rising hits the Prog and the Megazine.
The mega-crossover between the weekly Prog and the monthly Judge Dredd Megazine happens on 18 September with a subscriber-exclusive 2000 AD cover to Prog 2400 by John McCrea to sweeten the deal.
Nordland Rising is the latest of the pretty much annual event crossovers for 2000 AD and the Megazine. We’ve seen what-if tales of a very different Judgement Day and we’ve seen what might have happened if the characters of classic Brit comics Battle and Action got a sci-fi makeover, but this year we’re getting all-out war erupting in the 2000 AD multiverse as the Nort forces from Rogue Trooper invade every bit of 2000 AD history.
It all starts in 2000 AD Prog 2400 and concludes in Judge Dredd Megazine 473, both out on 18 September – and it’s promised to bring the world of 2000 AD to its knees – all hail the Nort Empire!
Amongst the resistance (and the strips you’ll see) are Rogue Trooper, Judge Dredd, Venus Bluegenes, Bad Company, Major Eazy, Judge Anderson, The V.C.s, and even Fiends of the Eastern Front get involved. So far, we have these confirmed…

Like every one of these special events, it promises to be a hell of a lot of fun, with plenty of great talent involved in telling tales that you won’t normally see in the pages of either the Prog or the Megazine. So expect plenty of mayhem, plenty of unexpected guests, and, I’m guessing here, quite a few surprise deaths to come.
