Capcom Presents A Look At The Story For ‘Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster’

Capcom has released a Story trailer for Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster, an update of their camp horror classic, to remind everyone of how insane the original game was. Of course, the name “remaster” is a bit of a misnomer, as the remaster is meant to be a complete graphical overhaul, brought to fans by the magic of the RE Engine. They’ve also added a handful of quality of life improvements to make things feel more in line with modern games, such as auto-saving, revamped controls, and even full voice acting.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster re-tells the story of Frank West, a freelance journalist who’s traveled into the town of Willamette, Colorado after its been put into quarantine. Though Frank is looking for a story, things get strange when he discovers the town’s shopping mall is overrun with zombies. Now he has to survive 72 hours until help arrives and discover the truth behind the infection. Fortunately, he’s got a shopping mart full of weapons to battle against the endless horde of zombies.
Dead Rising Deluxe Remaster launches for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, and Steam on September 19th.
