‘The Power Fantasy’ #2 Is Rushed Back For A Second Printing

The Power Fantasy #2 by writer Kieron Gillen and artist Caspar Wijngaard has sold out at the distributor level and so heads back to the printers for a second printing.

“There are six people who can save the world. They save the world every day they don’t use their powers. Yesterday, one used their gift. The world is still here. Have we been lucky, or has the fuse to end us all been lit?”

Speaking of the ongoing success of this new series, Gillen said:

“Selling out this quickly, this many times is all kinds of exciting,” said Gillen. “Issue one is people wanting to try it. Issue two is more people staying with us—not for a taste, but the ride. When you’ve got a story as big as The Power Fantasy, you just want as many people to read it as possible, and knowing we’re going back to press to put it in more people’s hands? It’s just great. We’ve on a journey together, and we want everyone crammed into 1970 Heavy’s 1970 Muscle car, listening to the music loud.”
