Cult Favorite ‘Shaun Of The Dead’ Celebrates 20 Bloody Years With New 4K UHD

Shaun of the Dead is celebrating its twentieth anniversary(!) via a new remaster in 4K Ultra HD with Dolby Vision and immersive Dolby Atmos sound. How’s that for a slice of fried gold?
Shaun of the Dead tells the tale of a London slacker named Shaun (Simon Pegg), wasting his life away at a part-time job and playing video games with his filthy flatmate Ed (Nick Frost). When the dead rise, Shaun somehow gets his groove back and faces the growing, Romero-esque zombie threat with great aplomb. The horror-comedy boasts a bevy of Brit comedy stars of the era, including Bill Nighy, Kate Ashfield, Dylan Moran, Lucy David, and Penelope Wilton, plus some cameo surprises for first-time viewers.
Like previous releases of the film, the special features are plentiful. They include a new retrospective featuring Wright, Pegg, and Frost, plus featurettes, deleted scenes, bloopers, trailers, and four audio commentaries with Wright, Pegg, Frost, Nighy, other cast and crew members, and of course the zombies themselves. The bonus material will also be released on participating digital platforms for the first time.
Shaun of the Dead will be available on digital and disc, including a limited edition 4K steelbook, on December 3rd.
