Zachary Levi Comedy ‘Harold and the Purple Crayon’ Headed To Blu-ray And DVD In October

Harold and the Purple Crayon is prepared to enter a new world on Blu-ray and DVD.
Harold and the Purple Crayon serves as a sequel to the kids’ book of the same name, in which a boy named Harold can magically turn his drawings into reality. Now that he’s drawn himself into reality, the now-grown Harold (Shazam‘s Zachary Levi) finds himself adrift in the harsh real world, and damaging it in the process. With the help of his friends, Harold sets about drawing things right.
Directed by animation vet Carlos Saldanha (Rio, Ice Age), Harold and the Purple Crayon also stars Lil Rel Howery, Jemaine Clement, Tanya Reynolds, and Zooey Deschanel. Alfred Molina serves as the film’s narrator.
Special features include deleted and extended scenes, a “Colors” sing along with Porcupine & Moose, a behind-the-scenes doc, and one of those “How to Draw” featurettes.
Harold and the Purple Crayon is now available to buy and rent on digital, and will arrive on Blu-ray and DVD on October 10th.
