Bandai-Namco’s Mecha Extraction Shooter, ‘Synduality: Echo Of Ada’, Gets A Release Date Trailer

It feels like Bandai-Namco’s been trying to nail down a release date for Synduality: Echo of Ada for some time now. Finally, in the waning days of Tokyo Game Show, they were able to show off new gameplay along with a release date. While the new trailer isn’t very long, between it and the game’s homepage, there’s a lot of info to delve into for people who are curious:
“This sci-fi adventure immerses players in a world where humans coexist with artificial intelligence. As a Drifter, players will embark on a journey to collect the precious AO Crystals, a rare resource vital to survival in this dystopian landscape. With an AI companion, Magus, and CRADLECOFFIN vehicle by their side, they will have to face countless threats and uncover the secrets of this dystopian future. The world is a battlefield filled with resources and dangers, where only the determined will prevail.
Players can personalize their experience in the game by customizing the appearance of their AI companion, Magus, and their CRADLECOFFIN vehicle, fostering a unique bond and fighting style.”
Synduality: Echo of Ada launches January 24th for Steam, Xbox Series, and PlayStation 5. The standard version will cost $39.99, while the Deluxe Edition will offer a school uniform for the player’s Magus, a Deluxe Drifter Pass Voucher, and a remake ticket to alter the Magus’ appearance, for $69.99. Finally, the Ultimate Edition will offer an Ultimate Drifter Pass Voucher, two school uniform outfits, and an exchange ticket to make the Magus resemble Mystere from the Synduality: Noir anime, for $99.99. Players who pre-order the Deluxe or Ultimate Edition will get to play the game seven days early.
Given that most multiplayer games these days find a way to go F2P, this is a curious approach. However, there’s certainly nothing else like Synduality on the market, so perhaps it works.
