Pulp Horror ‘Les Mort 13 Giant Syze Special’ #1 To Be Published By Image Comics And Syzygy Publishing

Ashley Wood (X-Men, Judge Dredd) and T.P. Louise (Lore, World War Robot) are reprinting their seaside scary stories in the Les Mort 13 Giant Syze Special #1, from Image Comics/Syzygy Publishing. This will be an extra-length edition, newsprint collection of eerie tales set on the fictional Southport island, “where travelers have gone mysteriously missing and there’s a rumor that a long-departed Goddess still holds power”. 

“The events of the Les Mort 13 Giant Syze Special take place between the coasts of somewhere and nowhere, on an island where the visitors are many but the inhabitants are few. Return tickets are issued but the return journeys are rarely ever taken. Some suspect that this hunk of rock sits upon the giant skull of a forgotten God, once lost to the dark waters that encircle the island. To reside in this place is to be engaged in a silent game of chess with something that you’re not even sure is there. Strangely, people still covet passage to this windy little isle, known for its ancient ruins. They belong to an unnamed Goddess and the long-forgotten cult that once worshipped her there.
