Yes, I know it’s only October, but everyone’s looking to Christmas right now, including 2000 AD Prog #2413, the annual Christmas Prog blowout!

Now, you should know I’m a bit of a 2000 AD fan. You know, with the Weekly 2000 AD and the Monthly Megazine features and all that. But I’m a fan for a damn good reason. Every week, without fail, it’s a place to find all the best sci-fi and finest storytelling in comics.
Actually, it’s not quite every week. At Christmastide, there’s a couple of weeks where we’re bereft at the lack of a weekly Prog fix as the comic takes a little seasonal time off. However, there’s plenty of 2000 AD reading for you over the festive season, as the annual final Prog of the year is a massive Christmas special – 100 pages of the old thrill power that should keep you all going through excessive food intake, neverending dross of the TV, and even Uncle Dave’s decidedly dodgy opinions he’s determined to share with one and all.
The 2000 AD Christmas Mega-Spectacular is out on the 18th December and brings you plenty of new series for the coming year as well as plenty of one-off strips by the usual veritable stellar cast of writers and artists.
