Mythical Meats And ‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Collaborate To Make Adventure-Worthy Snacks

by Anton Kromoff

Welcome to the table,

I’ve always been a fan of Dungeons & Dragons branding something in the non-gaming space. I have a wide collection of clothing, drinkware, candy, and other assorted oddities with the ampersand stamped across it. So I was delighted when I found out that the people who make the wildest jerky you can imagine announced that they were doing a collaboration with the fine folks over at Wizards of the Coast.

Mythical Meats, in collaboration with Hasbro and their Wizards of the Coast division, announced the launch of the Dungeons & Dragons Adventurer’s Rations Variety Pack and I am frankly delighted! This collaboration is inspired by 12 of the classes from D&D and provides adventurous opportunities for a culinary campaign explored solo, or with friends around the gaming table.

The classes and flavor profiles are as follows:

Barbarian: Sriracha Flavored Duck with Beef & Chicken Stick

Bard: Buffalo Style Chicken with Beef Stick

Cleric: Hawaiian Style Teriyaki Wild Boar with Beef Stick

Druid: Honey BBQ Style Turkey with Beef Stick

Fighter: Jalapeno Elk with Beef Stick

Monk: Sweet and Spicy Beef and Buffalo Stick

Paladin: BBQ Style Camel with Beef Stick

Ranger: Hickory Smoked Venison with Beef Stick

Rogue: Slow Burn Alligator with Beef and Pork Stick

Sorcerer: Habanero BBQ Snack Stick

Warlock: Honey Ham Pork Stick

Wizard: Chipotle and Garlic Beef with Yak Stick

I will be giving a full rundown and review of each of these exciting flavors in my Just the Specials feature very soon, so look forward to that! For now, You can grab the Dungeons & Dragons Adventure’s Rations Variety Pack at the link.

Until next time, as someone who lived off of the snacks friends brought to the gaming table, snacking and gaming go hand-in-hand and this is easily one of the coolest ways I have seen D&D do a food collaboration in recent years. Mythical Meats has a ton of fun things they do over at their company and I’m currently exploring all of their offerings. Expect to see much more from them in the coming months because the cross-section of random delightful snacks and pop culture is where I live, dear reader, and I am sure as heck happy to explore this space until I am, as the memes say, “fat and sassy.”
