‘Battle Kitty’ To Be Removed From Netflix December 1

In truly baffling news, interactive cartoon Battle Kitty is set to be removed from Netflix this December. It continues the disturbing trend of big streamers deleting their own original content. As with other shows that have been deleted, the question remains: why does this keep happening and what can be done to prevent it?
In my review, I gave Battle Kitty a well deserved 10/10 and that review had one of the highest number of view counts I’ve ever had during my eight years as a critic. Clearly, there is a passionate audience for a queer-friendly love letter to vintage video games with laugh out loud jokes. What’s even more disheartening is that it’s unlikely we’ll ever get a physical release of Battle Kitty given its unique interactive format.
Battle Kitty has wonderful characters, an amazing world, and a touching story that more people deserve to experience. Be sure to check it out on Netflix before its gone.
