Adult Animation Revolution: ‘Glitch Expo’ 2024 Now On YouTube

Glitch Expo 2024 is an event to celebrate the continued Indie Animation Boom. This year put a spotlight on many new exciting shows including: Port by the Sea, Horizonauts, Heathens, Punch Punch Forever! and many more. Godspeed creator Olan Rogers gave an interview where he commented on how the animation landscape has changed since his work on Final Space.
The animation industry at large appears to be supporting IP driven shows rather than green-lighting original projects. However, the passion, quality and sheer view-count of these indie projects proves that there is a hungry audience for original ideas. Digital Circus recently broke new ground by streaming non-exclusively on Netflix. In future we may see a hybrid relationship between major and independent channels for distribution.
