Jonah Ray Announces ‘Mystery Science Theater 3000’ Potluck Of The Stars For Turkey Day

Turkey Day to fans of Mystery Science Theater 3000 means one thing: a excessive amount of cheesy movies via the traditional day-long (and sometimes longer) MST3K marathon. This year, though, the event will be a little different — as Jonah Ray announced in the video above — it will be a “Potluck of the Stars.”

Join Ray and other MST3K alums like creator Joel Hodgson, veteran writer and Mad Mary Jo Pehl, current Mad Felicia Day, and Ray’s fellow host Emily Marsh as they welcome celebrity fans like actors David Dastmalchian, Mark Hamill, Matthew Lillard, and Kumail Nanjiani, and director Mike Flanagan. The group will present a collection of favorite MST3K episodes and reintroduce The Final Sacrifice after a several years absence from Turkey Day.

And as the tradition continues to evolve, Shout! Factory has also made available the entire marathon schedule. While discovery was once a key part of Turkey Day, older MSTies appreciate the foreknowledge in the list below:

It’s a pretty solid list that will look quite familiar to long-time watchers of the Turkey Day marathon. In fact, we’re surprised I Accuse My Parents isn’t on the schedule. Nonetheless, stalwart episodes like The Final Sacrifice and Manos welcome more recent additions like The Mask and Gamera vs Jiger. The latter two are strong entries from the most recent season. And, we expect, MSTies will be hoping to hear news from Hodgson about a potential Season 15.
