Thought Bubble 2024: Talking With Al Ewing About ‘Metamorpho: The Element Man’

Over a very busy but productive and highly enjoyable Though Bubble comic con, I was able to sit down with writer Al Ewing to discuss his new DC Comics series, Metamorpho: The Element Man coming out this December. I think we were both quite happy for the break, I must admit. During this welcome break, we spoke about the comic, Ewing’s approach and Silver Age influences on this new comic, as well as working with artist Steve Lieber, who is the perfect fit for this comic You’ll understand why after you listen to this interview. But if I thought I was excited about it previously, that excitement was certainly turned up to eleven after hearing some of his long-term plans for Rex Mason, Simon Stagg and the rest of the cast.
