‘Dream Productions’ Goes Into The Process Of ‘Inside Out’ Dreaming On Disney+

Disney has released a trailer for the upcoming limited series Dream Productions. Set in the world of Inside Out — but before the events of Inside Out 2 — the four-episode program takes the mockumentary approach to its characters. As revealed in the films, Riley’s dreams are manufactured by a studio lot inside her mind. It processes her emotions, gives life to her wishes, and even allows her to visit some terrors. But with every stray brain process given life — even daydreaming — conflicts occur and it’s up to dream director Paula Persimmon (Paula Pell) to create the next hit dream after being paired up with Xeni (Richard Ayoade), the daydream director who’s ideas are … avant-garde, to say the least. But with pressures mounting and Riley’s emotional well-being on the line, will the denizens of Dream Productions get the job done?
Also featuring the voices of Amy Poehler, Maya Rudolph, Ally Maki, Kensington Tallman, Liza Lapira, Tony Hale, Lewis Black, and Phyllis Smith, Dream Productions arrives in its entirety December 11th on Disney+
