‘Star Wars Outlaws’ Previews Its First DLC: “Wild Card”

After a rocky launch, Star Wars Outlaws has seemingly steadied course — just in time for their first major DLC story pack, “Wild Card.” The story sees Outlaws protagonist Kay Vess on a new mission where she’ll infiltrate a Sabacc tournament in the hopes of winning its Grand Prize. The mission won’t just see her working solo however, as she’ll also have the chance to work with everyone’s favorite smuggler: Lando Calrissian.
This mission is available now, but also debuts the same time as the game’s Title Update 1.4. This new patch makes changes to stealth and combat, offers improvements to enemy AI, and allows Kay to carry weapons she finds for longer than the current combat encounter. This does feel like the biggest update yet, but it also seems like they plan on continuing to support the game in the coming months. Given there’s a second story pack coming in the Spring, Outlaws might look completely different by the time they’re done adding content.
Star Wars Outlaws is available now on Xbox Series, PlayStation 5, the Ubisoft Store, Epic Games Store and Steam.
