‘West Coast Avengers’ #1 Debuts With A Special Surprise Variant

This week, Marvel’s West Coast Avengers revival debuts, bringing back one of the publisher’s longest standing teams. This latest revival is going to come with a little surprise.
From Gerry Duggan and Danny Kim, the series chronicles Iron Man, War Machine, Spider-Woman and Firestar joining together to protect the west coast of the United States. Along the way, the team’s secondary mission will give reformed villains a chance at redemption, including new character Blue Bolt and the Avengers’ deadliest adversary, Ultron! To celebrate the launch, Marvel is sending many retailers a special surprise variant from artist Todd Nauck, featuring Blue Bolt.
The West Coast Avengers #1 Promo Surprise Variant Cover is the latest complimentary cover delivered from Marvel to show appreciation for retailers and build excitement for readers.
