Create, Cultivate And Defend Your Own Kingdom In ‘Overthrown’

by Sage Ashford

Running a kingdom is actually a ton of work if you’re actually trying, something that Maximum Entertainment and Brimstone wanted to remind players with their game, Overthrown.  In Overthrown, the player spends a lot of time gradually building up a kingdom for their subjects.  However, they’ll also have to protect that land from mutants and bandits alike as the players build their own kingdoms.

Combat against invaders is surprisingly fluid too, inviting players to really go to town on their enemies as a break from their work building the kingdom up. As if all that isn’t enough though, it seems there’s a mechanic in place to cause citizens to abandon the town if they’re not kept happy.

Overthrown is releasing December 5th on Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox consoles.
