Marvel’s ‘West Coast Avengers’ Returns With Second Printings

Marvel’s West Coast Avengers returned last week with a stunning debut issue. The opening issue has already sold out and is returning to stores with a second printing and its not the only one.
The series from Gerry Duggan & Danny Kim sees Tony Stark and James Rhodes leading a ragtag team of Avengers trying to help villains find redemption. Their biggest beneficiary is none other than Ultron, one of the Avengers most dangerous and deadly adversaries. Ultron’s benevolent future is threatened when one of his other selves resurfaces leading a new religion. Meanwhile, the evil Steve Rogers that took over the United States in Secret Invasion will emerge from the shadows to challenge the team in issue #5.
Not only is issue #1 seeing a second printing, but West Coast Avengers #2 is as well!
Though we didn’t get a review out, our team was pleasantly surprised by the debut issue, especially its chilling final pages. It’s a fun new dynamic for the Avengers, but the cliffhanger changed everything the series appeared to be for the better.
