Comicon Advent Calendar 2024 Day 12– Have Yourself An Archie Little Christmas

Pour yourself another eggnog, have yet another mince pie… it’s time to see just what we have for you behind today’s Comicon Advent Calendar window…
One thing is certain, every year, no matter what, there’s always going to be something seasonal coming out of Riverdale. They don’t try to do anything different or edgy (well, they sometimes do, but that’s in other comics), they just concentrate on telling yet another silly festive story with Archie, Jughead, Betty, Veronica, and the whole gang.
They’re never anything less than delightful and, frankly, if you’re not in any way charmed by this little collection of a set of yuletide moments from Archie, you really need to get with the season just that little bit more.
These are from the Archie Christmas Spectacular 2022. But seriously, pick an Archie Christmas comic, any Archie Christmas comic, and I guarantee you’ll feel that little bit better.
First, that was something by the great Dan Parent, whose art is always underrated, with so much work going into the simplified line he uses, but one that never, ever loses sight of the story he’s telling.
And then there’s this Betty & Veronica tale, “‘Tis The Season To Be Freezing,” by Francis Bonnet, K-Bros, and Jim Amash. Again, there’s so much incredible work going into the art to make it look this simple yet so darned great… enjoy a little bit more of that Archie Christmas goodness…
