I Hate Fairyland by Skottie Young (Middlewest, Twig) turns a decade old in 2025 and Skottie Young takes a trip down memory lane in a Free Comic Book Day issue, “providing behind-the-scenes commentary as he revisits various iconic and beloved Fairyland kingdoms—and some of Gert’s most infamous stomping (literal) grounds”.
“Wow. 10 years? I can’t believe you let me get away with this for that long! I love it! You’re stuck with Gert now,” said Young. “She’s never going away!!!!”
FCBD 2025 I Hate Fairyland will be available at participating comic stores on Saturday, May 3rd, 2025.
