The Uncanny Experience Returns For A Third Year To Celebrate The 25th Anniversary Of ‘X-Men: Evolution’
by Austin Gorton
The Uncanny Experience, an immersive X-Men fan event, will return this summer for a third year. With 2025 marking the 25th anniversary of the animated series X-Men: Evolution, Giant-Size Productions recently announced that this year’s weekend-long X-Men celebration will honor that series.

First appearing on Kids WB in 2000, Evolution ran for 52 episodes over four seasons, concluding in October of 2003. To celebrate, the Uncanny Experience will welcome the series’ director and character designer, Steven E. Gordon, to the event this summer. Furthermore, voice actors Meghan Black (Rogue) and Maggie Blue O’Hara (Kitty Pryde/Shadowcat) will be in attendance, with additional guests to be announced soon.

In addition to celebrity guests and signings, the Uncanny Experience — which transforms the historic Minneapolis Club into the Xavier Institute — offers ticket holders the opportunity to attend classes on mutant culture (taught by prominent X-Men podcasters, cosplayers, and comic book creators), explore rooms decorated as character dorms, solve the interactive Mystery in the Mansion quest, and be initiated into the Hellfire Club.
