Marvel Reveals The Plot And Covers For Upcoming ‘Wolverine’ #400

It’s Wolverine’s fifty-first birthday, and that’s not usually a milestone number. However, the year is starting early with a huge milestone as the best there is hits a big number in his solo adventures.
Coming up in April, Wolverine #8 will also double as the 400th issue of Wolverine solo adventures across multiple volumes. That means a special extra sized issue, to celebrate. Even better, the regular creative team of Saladin Ahmed and Martin Coccolo are joined by comics superstar Daniel Warren Johnson for the blowout anniversary, telling two huge stories.
The first sees the culmination of Ahmed’s opening story on the volume. Logan faces off with the Adamantine, a mythical force looking to reclaim the metal coating Logan’s bones. And Johnson creates a special bonus story, celebrating the landmark anniversary!
“A big anniversary issue is always a great excuse to go crazy with reveals and unveilings, and we’ve taken that to heart here!” Ahmed said. “In this over-sized issue an old enemy drives Logan’s new pupil the Wendigo to the brink, Logan finally comes face to face with the cryptic entity known as the Adamantine, and a stunning new family revelation plants the seeds for the next chaotic chapter of Logan’s life.”
