Doug Wagner And Daniel Hillyard Announce ‘I Was A Fashion School Serial Killer’ From Image Comics

The crazies behind serial killer comedies Plastic, Plush, and Vinyl, writer Doug Wagner and artist Daniel Hillyard, have plotting their latest criminal comic book series, an all-new, campy horror five-issue mini-series, I Was a Fashion School Serial Killer coming from Image Comics this April.
“Rennie Bethary has just been accepted into New York City’s most prestigious fashion school. Her designs are daring, edgy, and singular…and made of human flesh. Did we forget to mention Rennie is a serial killer who simply wants to be a fashion designer instead? Stupid, pesky, murderous urges!”
Speaking of this new dark horror comedy, Wagner states:
“This may be the craziest, most quirky serial killer book Daniel and I have done yet. I had the time of our lives working on this one. During our calls, there was way too much of drinks shooting out noses and asking, ‘Can we get away with that?’ We tend to think of those as signs that we’re on the right path.”
Hillyard added:
“Sewing together serial killer horror and college drama felt so right—like slipping into a warm blood bath.”
I Was a Fashion School Serial Killer #1 will be out on Wednesday, April 2nd with the following covers:
