April’s ‘Concert Of Champions’ Unites Marvel Music Icons

The Marvel Universe is full of superheroic and superpowered musicians. This April they unite in an oversized one-shot- Concert of Champions!
Reuniting Dazzler creative team Jason Loo and Rafael Loureiro, the story unites all of the universe’s greatest musicians. But in the middle of readers’ backstage access, a villainous band threatens to steal the show.
Dazzler! Luna Snow! Lila Cheney! These heroes and more have united for the biggest concert event of the season, with other surprising faces — including Spider-Gwen — in the crowd. When a mysterious new metal band called Deep Void burst onto the scene, our heroes have to decipher their mysterious intentions before the festival explodes.
“I’m honored to work on Marvel’s first annual music festival, and with a stacked line-up,” Loo shared. “Luna Snow was already on my playlist while I was writing the last Dazzler series, so getting to have her share the stage with Dazzler and Lila Cheney is a total dream. Also, get ready for Deep Void, 616’s new black metal band, made-up of some familiar faces. That one song they have rips!”
The Marvel universe has a lot of musician heroes and villains (and Lila Cheney, the coolest mutant ever). Bringing them all together for a story like this is a killer concept. I think the only thing about the announcement I don’t like is that it’s only a one-shot.
