Comics Pro 2025: Dynamite Expands Its ‘Vampirella’ Paperback Archive; Vol. 2 Set For June

Dynamite continues to make announcements at Comics Pro.
The company announced a second volume of its paperback Vampirella Archives will be available for fans in June with subsequent volumes set for release every two months. Volume 2 collects issues #8-14 of the original Vampirella magazine. Archie Goodwin, who became the title’s editor with issue #7, continues his plan to build the mythology around Vampi by writing the lead strip in every issue himself. Alongside her original artist, Tom Sutton, Goodwin introduces such concepts and characters as Conrad and Adam Van Helsing, the Cult of Chaos, the Crimson Chronicles, and Mordecai Pendragon.
Following Sutton’s departure from the magazine, Jose Gonzalez picks up the artistic duties, establishing Vampirella’s most iconic presentation. Other contributors featured in Vol. 2 include Wally Wood, Barry Windsor-Smith, Neal Adams, Dave Cockrum, Dennis O’Neil, Steve Englehart, Gerry Conway, Doug Moench, Jack Katz, Sam Glanzman, Mike Ploog, Frank Brunner, Jeffrey Catherine Jones, Gardner Fox, and more. The covers for the collected issues feature the work of Frank Frazetta, Boris Vallejo, Sanjulian, Ken Kelly, and Bill Hughes. Take a gander at some of the interior pages below:
The Vampirella archive project will span 15 volumes in total, reprinting all 112 issues of the original Vampirella series. As mentioned above, the plan is to release new volumes every two months with Vol. 3 featuring the debuts of writer T. Casey Brennan, Esteban Maroto‘s Tomb of the Gods feature, and more.
Vampirella Archives Vol. 2 arrives this June.
