‘Blue’s Clues & You!’ Books Scheduled For Summer From Dynamite Kids

Dynamite Kids add another beloved children’s show to its roster: Blue’s Clues & You!
As part of the imprint’s ongoing mission to create and distribute a wide range of children’s books and graphic novels, Blue’s Clues & You!: It’s Puppet Time with Blue! will be the first book released featuring the beloved characters from the television series, from Blue and Magenta, to Mailbox and Tickety Tock. The softcover activity book, written by Jane Kent, “provides kids ages 4 and up with hours of hands-on play.” Children (with the aid of an adult) will “love making puppets with common household materials like paper, tissue rolls, socks, and felt.” The book features step-by-step instructions and pop-out decorations to help young fans craft their own “visually engaging, handheld toys.” 12 puppets in all can be made.
But that’s just the beginning as August will see the debut of Blue’s Clues & You!: Blue’s Beach Bonanza. The novelty board book, also written by Kent, will feature “several full color scenes of the show’s adorable cast enjoying the sand, surf, and sun. Hit the beach with the pups and use the book’s pop-out play pieces across each fun spread. This book will be a fun one to take with the family to the beach, or a way to think about all the fun it offers while at home.”
Blue’s Clues & You! takes its cues from the original Blue’s Clues series, offering plenty of discovering and learning for preschool-aged children, although we imagine some of the original series fans will still get a kick out of these books.
