Pokémon Center Gives You Another Reason To Catch Them All: The Gyarados Beaming Ferocity Figure By First 4 Figures
by Anton Kromoff
Welcome to the table,
When things get chaotic, I tend to sink into media that brings me joy. I normally look for content that is fairly easy to binge, does not have many sad moments, and — when possible — contains monsters. I’m also a fan of a protagonist who acts more like an engine of chaos than they do something that drives the story along so for me, Pokémon is an easy choice and I have watched more than a few seasons of that beloved show in the last month or so.
One of the things I love is how much flack Magikarp gets, seeing as when it hits level 20 it turns into the giant serpentine monster Gyarados. And when this armor plated toothsome creature of destruction was not enough, it hits level 52 and can learn Hyperbeam, a move that can melt flesh from Poké-bone. Okay maybe it does not melt flesh from bone, as it were, but as far as normal type moves go it’s pretty powerful and, all things considered, it’s one of the coolest looking movies in all of Pokémon.

The mighty Gyarados offering from this limited edition collection made by First 4 Figures glows with the push the button on the back of the figure’s round base to illuminate the splashing water and attack effects.

The figure includes a certificate of authenticity, rechargeable battery, and USB cord. What’s so cool is that each figure is marked with an edition number ranging from 0001/1,000 to 1,000/1,000 and is powered by a USB-C so you can keep your PP up and your Hyperbeam at the ready.
As a long time fan of Gyarados the only thing that could make me more happy about this collectable would be if it came in the shiny color-ways or the Mega Gyarados form as well.
