Todd McFarlane Productions Announces New ‘Spawn’ Comic ‘The Curse Of Sherlee Johnson’

Todd McFarlane Productions and Image Comics have announced an all-new series set in the ever-expanding Spawn Universe, The Curse of Sherlee Johnson by writer Daniel Henriques, artist Jonathan Glapion, and colourist FCO Plascencia debuting this May from Image Comics. A character who made her original debut in Spawn #5 in 1992. To celebrate this new series, Image Comics will be also be reprinting this issue.

“At the heart of this new saga is Sherlee Johnson, a seven-year-old whose death at the hands of the notorious serial killer Billy Kincaid rocked readers back in Spawn #5 and set off a chain of unforeseen consequences. Now Sherlee is reborn—transformed and armed with mysterious powers—yet still struggles with the loss of her previous life. She must navigate a brutal, unforgiving world alongside the enigmatic Stranger, as she wrestles with lingering pain and the pressures of a newfound purpose and destiny.”
Henrique comments on the series:

The Curse of Sherlee Johnson #1 will launch with a double-sized, 48 pages and out on Wednesday, May 21 wth the following covers:
