‘Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot’ Adds ‘Dragon Ball Daima’ Through A New Expansion

It seems impossible, but Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot is still going strong, with CyberConnect2 and Bandai Namco now confirming they’ll be adding content from Dragon Ball Daima. Entitled “DAIMA: Adventure Through The Demon Realm”, this content will be split into two parts, with Part 1 releasing sometime between July and September, while Part 2 arrives between January and March 2026.
The trailer explores many of the key moments in Dragon Ball Daima, while also promising a greater exploration of the Demon Realm. It seems to focus largely on the first half of Daima, before Vegeta and the others arrive, which will likely be the whole of Part 2. Much like Dragon Ball XenoVerse, it’s interesting that Bandai Namco seems utterly uninterested in releasing new games in the same genre for Dragon Ball, instead simply adding more DLC. Still, $35 for DLC of a game that first came out in 2020 seems like a bold choice. Nonetheless, with Kakarot covering everything from late Dragon Ball to parts of Super and the “End of Z”, there’s no better way to experience a single-player version of the Dragon Ball story.
